Welcome to the CalConnect Virtual Interoperability Test Lab
Welcome to the CalConnectSM Virtual Interoperability
Test Lab (also referred to as VCITE). As part of ongoing efforts within
CalConnect to promote calendaring interoperability we have set up a virtual
testing environment to augment our regular CalConnect Interoperability Test
Events. Participation in the CalConnect Virtual Test Lab is open to members
and non-members just as participation in CalConnect's in-person Interoperability
Test Events is available to members and non-members.
In order to participate, you must sign up for a Virtual Interoperability Test Lab
id and agree that you and your organization will be bound by and comply with the
CalConnect Interoperability Testing Confidentiality Agreement.
Use the
appropriate link on the left sidebar to sign up for a test id depending on whether
or not your organization is a CalConnect member and, if it is, wheher you already
have a Member Representative userid to access the CalConnect member facilities and
wish to access the VTL area, or if you wish to sign up for both.
Once you
have been granted an id to access the VTL and its facilities, you will be able
define a testing profile, create test events and establish testing pairs with
other testers, and use the VTL facilities to conduct the tests and record the
results.
Results of VTL testing will be periodically compiled and published internally to
CalConnect, and CalConnect will also post public testing reports or our website.
These public reports do not name specific products or link test results with products.
