CalDAV Technical Committee

Charter

The goal of the CalDAV Technical Committee is to define the problems the members of the Calendaring and Scheduling Consortium want to solve with CalDAV - Calendaring Extensions to WebDAV, and to discuss and evaluate potential extensions to CalDAV. As such, this technical committee shall publish use cases as well as technical requirements derived from those use cases. For each requirement, the technical committee shall publish a conformance level (e.g. MAY, SHOULD, MUST).

The CalDAV Technical Committee shall also be responsible for producing the test cases for CalDAV testing in IOP Test Events sponsored by the Consortium.

The CalDAV Technical Committee shall also assist the IETF in the development of the CalDAV drafts, such that they reach IETF Proposed Standard level in a reasonable time frame.

The CalDAV Protocol Home Page can be accessed here: CalDAV Protocol Home Page.
