Liaisons and Relationships

The Calendaring and Scheduling Consortium will establish and maintain relationships with external Standards Development Organizations and other organizations as appropriate to further its purposes. Such relationships may take the form of formal liaisons, informal partnerships, or reciprocal membership agreements, at the discretion of the Consortium Steering Committee. to allow


The Consortium has a formal liaison relationship with the Open Mobile Alliance Data Synchronization Working Group.

The Consortium maintains an informal relationship with the Internet Engineering Task Force as most of the standards towards which the Consortium contributes work products are IETF RFCs.

The Consortium has adopted a formal policy for Reciprocal Membership to accommodate joint working groups and inter-organizational attendance at joint meetings if and when necessary.
