Benefits of Membership
All members of the Consortium have essentially the same benefits and rights. Certain
extra benefits accrue to Founding Members (those organizations who joined the
Consortium prior to its first public event). Membership benefits include:
- Members may attend and participate in Consortium member activities such
as Roundtables and Technical Committees

- Members receive a substantially reduced rate for participation in CalConnect
Interoperability Events
- Members may host an CalConnect Interopability Event and pay no participation
fee for that event
- Members will have access during development to all white papers, requirements documents,
test scripts, etc. produced by the Consortium
- Members may propose Technical Committees, participate in any and all Technical
Committees, and nominate individuals to chair Technical Committees
- Members may nominate representatives on the Steering Committee Council
- Members will be listed on the Consortium website Members page. Both a
company or organizational logo and a link will be provided
- Members receive recognition and publicity as a member of the Consortium and
a supporter of the goals of the Consortium
- Members receive publicity if desired for successful participation in
CalConnect Interoperability Events
- Members may coordinate and link Consortium publicity with their own
publicity work
- Members may receive Consortium certification of their products (It is a goal
of the Consortium to be able to provide Certification that a product or
application conforms to the Calendaring and Scheduling standards)
- Members participating in supporting and achieve the goals of the Consortium:
- Better general understanding and appreciation of Calendaring and Scheduling
- Widespread acceptance and use of interoperable Calendaring and Scheduling
products and applications
